HVAC Technician Position
The following statements help to clarify the job qualifications/responsibilities of a HVAC Technician:
- High School diploma, GED or suitable equivalent
- 1+ year experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field
- Knowledge of removing old HVAC Systems
- Knowledge of installing new HVAC systems
- Must be able to perform routine maintenance
- Must be able to order materials and maintain equipment
- Must meet local HVAC codes
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Must be dependable
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Some knowledge of 3 phase equipment
- Uniforms, vehicle and tools are provided
- CDL required with in 1 year of employment
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
