29 May Brown Bag Meals Series Continues

The Cocke County Schools Nutrition staff will continue their Brown Bag Meals Series into the month of June. The department staff released plans for the first three Wednesdays in June.

On Wednesday, June 3, Wednesday, June 10, and Wednesday, June 17, meals will be distributed at the following school campuses from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM:

  • Bridgeport Elementary
  • Centerview Elementary
  • Cocke County High School
  • Cosby Elementary/High
  • Edgemont Elementary
  • Grassy Fork Elementary
  • Northwest Elementary

Teens and children 18 and under are eligible to pick up 7 breakfasts, 7 lunches, and a 1/2 gallon of milk each Wednesday. Families can only receive meals from one campus location weekly. Here are highlighted menu items each week:

Wednesday, June 3rd

Chicken sandwiches and hamburgers, French fries, breakfast items, fruit, and a 1/2 gallon of milk.

 

Wednesday, June 10th

Sandwich deli meat, loaf of bread, fresh carrots (or a substitute if not available), breakfast items, fruit, and a 1/2 gallon of milk.

 

Wednesday, June 17th

Pizza, frozen corn, breakfast items, fruit, and a 1/2 gallon of milk.
