On behalf of Cocke County Schools, I want to welcome you to our new district website. We have designed the site to provide information on a variety of district-wide topics along with links to our individual school websites and other resources.
It is my pleasure to serve as the Director of Schools here in Cocke County. As a life-long resident of this county, I take great pride in leading a dedicated group of educators who work diligently to provide a quality education to Cocke County’s students.
It is my belief that our public schools provide an educational experience that unlocks the doors to a world where anything is possible for Cocke County Schools graduates. Our mission is to work with families and the community to ensure that our students are prepared to become productive and responsible citizens.
We realize that the education of our young people in Cocke County is about more than the core subjects we teach daily. In order to truly develop our students, we strive to provide career and technical training, extra-curricular offerings, and enrichment experiences that help students discover their unique talents.
Cocke County Schools are blessed to serve students who grow up along the ridge tops and valleys that make our county home. Through our combined efforts we provide the opportunities for them to take the grit and determination of our mountain heritage into a place where they can achieve anything they believe.
