In Cocke County Schools, we strive to make the best choices for students in foster care. Students will be immediately enrolled, even if the student is unable to produce records normally required for enrollment. The district and the child welfare agency shall determine the best placement for the student. The determination shall be made as quickly as possible to prevent educational disruption. All decisions for the child in foster care shall be made in his/her best interest.
